Is the boy about to trigger a cross-species war? Let the misadventure begin. "Fast-paced, tongue in cheek ...laugh-out-loud". ("Sunday Times"). "A huge hit". ("The Guardian"). "Artemis is a brilliant creation". (Anthony Horowitz). Winner of the WHSmith Children's Book of the Year Award and Children's Book of the Year at the Children's Book Awards. I have read Artemis Fowl books and I love them they are so cool. The author is two. He has incredible books and they are like the best. This is one of the best books.

"Artemis Fowl", book 1 in the series is one of my favorite books. It starts with young Artemis planning and staging a kidnapping of an elf, specifically one from the Lower Elements Police (LEP). His one goal is to recieve a ransom that will fund a search for his missing father, also a criminal mastermind. As he stages his scheme of extorsion he come upon a problem, the fact that a weapon the LEP has can kill everyone in Fowl Manor in one blast. He must find a way to survive this, and maybe save his mother who has fallen mentally ill after the dissapearnce of his father.

This is a very good book. It is about a twelve year old criminal mastermind named Artemis Fowl, with his bodyguard Butler. In order to get money to rescue his missing father, Artemis kidnaps Holly Short, a fairy of the LEPrecon. But he might have underestimated the power of the faires.

Artemis Fowl is what you wouldn't expect a 12-year old to be. Most unexpectedly, he is a criminal mastermind. After his father spent most of the family's fortune on a job that didn't turn out how he wanted, Artemis takes it upon himself to restore the money. Step 1 of his plan is to steal gold from fairies and leprechaun. That's right, fairies and leprechauns. According to his research, they can vibrate at high speeds, making them invisible to the naked eye. He has an intriguing plan to find this gold. With the help of Butler they may be unstoppable to Holly and team LEP (who are the mystical creatures). This book is written from the antagonists point of view. You may find yourself rooting for Artemis. I enjoyed how the book was written differently. Since Butler is a trained bodyguard, I enjoyed one of his fight scenes a lot. He is being attacked as part of a diversion. However, he knows he can easily take out the attackers, but instead he says that it wouldn't be a workout. Though I enjoyed it, I felt it was slow for me, since everything is described deeply. Still you should try this book.

HI HI

the words on the bottom I have tried to translate, but it was really far. I only read something about a fairy who read stuff in spit or something like that.

This book is kind of mysterious and nearly confusing because of all its plot twists, but that is what makes this book so good. This book is incredible because of its deep features!

This book seemed ok to me. I got up to the part when he gets the fairy's book and is trying to decipher the language. This book seemed ok to me.

Artemis Fowl is a pretty interesting books for tweens and teens. It’s very difficult to describe the main character, but a simple explanation is that he’s a rich child child prodigy with an exceptionally high IQ who uses his amazing talents to make him a criminal mastermind. He learns of an underground, high-tech world filled with fantasy-like creatures and decided on kidnapping a fairy from there to gain an extreme amount of money and knowledge. This book is superb and a must-read for fantasy and/or adventure lovers. The whole series is incredible and you will be hooked. It’s simply too good to pass up.

I liked this book because it has to do with fantasy- mythical creatures and things that could only be possible in the future- but it also has a scientific side to it, so it appeals to me.

Artemis Fowl is an amazing book! It is about a young boy who captures a fairy in hope for a ransom. Will he get what he wants or will the fairies outsmart our criminal mastermind? Read to find out.
