This book is a book that you would want to read if you are into science fiction. It talks about things like space travel, tesseracts, society, and the black thing. A tesseract is basically a fold in time. Rather than traveling across the universe, Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Which, and Mrs. Who, can fold time. That way, they don't have to travel as far of a distance. If you are a sci-fi lover, dive in! If not, maybe not.

A Wrinkle In Time, let's do this. If you know Lana, which you all should, Lana always writes long reviews for classics. So, let's do this. A Wrinkle In Time was a novel that I should have read earlier. Lana was just so caught up in modern books so she forgot about the classics, so let's begin. Meg was a pretty decent character. I really liked her in the begging, but when she met Calvin, her role in the book started to become a Mary Sue kinda character. In case you did not know what a Mary Sue is, it's when a character starts to be 'The Only Hero', and the love centered one. So, yes. But that only took one whole star off the rating, for Meg was a major character. Charles Wallace was what Lana calls a 'Cute Character'. Charles Wallace kinda helped Meg's 'Special Snowflake' thing. Moving on. Calvin O'Keefe, my #1 most hated character in the novel. (Meg's in second). Calvin O'Keefe, ugh. I mean, he was fine in the first two minutes, before he saw Meg. Cause right when he saw Meg, he was in love. Those are not my kind of books. Anyway, 3 stars for a Wrinkle in Time. But I seriously should've picked up this novel earlier to see what everyone was talking about.

A Wrinkle in Time by Madeliene L'Engle was a good book, but not a personal favorite. Though the description of characters and places left me breathless, often, I lost track of what I was reading. I got very bored sometimes, but some events of the book suddenly got me excited. I recommend you read this if you are a fantasy fan, and also if you are a fan of science fiction!

Meg Murray is a high school student. Although she loves doing math, most people believe she's a dunce, and she is constantly in the trouble with her teachers and the principal. She is also very protective of her little brother Charles Wallace. Charles Wallace is extremely smart, although as Meg he is often misjudged-mostly because he only speaks around his family. And even though he is only five years old, he speaks in full sentences, and can understand almost anybody without them speaking. Their parents are both scientists-but their father has been missing for almost two years on a mysterious assignment. One night Meg, Charles Wallace and their mother are having a midnight snack when a stranger appears at their door. A stranger who turns out to be magical. Soon after Meg, Charles Wallace and their new friend Calvin go on a crazy adventure through space and time with a trio of magical beings: Mrs. Whatist, Mrs. Which, and Mrs. Who. Will they be able to band together, and defeat these forces of evil as well as find their missing father? The first time I read this book was several years ago, and I couldn't really understand it so I didn't enjoy it. This time around I'm older(and hopefully wiser), and I really loved it! I recommend this book for middle and high-schoolers (and adults). I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

This book was very interesting, but it was slightly confusing near the end of the book ( that was probably just me because my book was missing a few pages throughout out it). It was a great science fiction read.

This book is a great action and adventure story about time and space travel! It is full of gripping tales and I loved it. L'Engle describes each world with pinpointing detail and immerses you in Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin's world.

They embark on their journey, along with Calvin O'Keffe, to strange worlds by " tessering" eventually they find Mr. Murray and return back to Earth, while defeating IT, safely.

In the beginning, Meg and Charles Wallace met Mrs. Whatsit and Calvin O’Keefe. Meg, Charles, and Calvin learned about tessering (traveling by the means of the tesseract) and the tesseract (the fifth dimension). Later in the story, they learn from Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which that there is an evil thing called the Black Thing that obscured stars and was constantly fighting the stars and planets. They tesser to a planet - Camazotz that was under IT’s control. They save Meg’s father but, lose Charles to IT. They tesser to a planet and then Meg gets tessered back. She saves Charles by loving him. At the end they return to Earth.
