Yay an extra hour of sleep that's 5 hours

Daylight savings time was originally started to save energy. Then it was used to give soldiers more daylight. It has been changed many times since the 1900's but in the end we gain an hour in the fall and lose an hour in the spring. I liked gaining an extra hour today because I got to sleep more. I won't like it in the summer because I will lose an hour of my precious sleep. i was also surprised to find out the this was originally suggested by Benjamin Franklin.

I am very happy for us we get lots of more sleep to prepare ourselves for the up coming week ahead and grade schoolers and highschoolers get to prepare themselves for tests or other things that require us to have concentration and mental and physical energy.

Fall back day is GREAT! I love feeling that I come to school an hour late! :)
