Markus Zusak paints an abstract image using artistic metaphors and Similes of young Leisel Meminger during the travesty of the Holocaust. Death literally narrates this novel as we follow the blended journey of a hiding Jew who fist fights Hitler in a basement, a young girl struggling through her childhood which seems to be increasingly crushed by the wrath of the Nazis, her foster parents, and the uncoordinated dance of hope and despair.

I would strongly recommend this futuristic trilogy to anyone interested in a fast paced political commentary and romance. I absolutely loved this trilogy, could not close it. May the odds be ever in your favor!!!!!!!!!

I do not exactly enjoy video games, but yes I would love to go to one of these. I wish they were in my neighborhood! Next time I visit Europe this is most definitely going to be on my list of things to do.
