I loved the theme of loyalty & determination in this book!

This book had a very good story line. I really would recomened this book to all childern. It is very exciting and it makes you want to continue reading and never stop.

This was a wonderful story about a boy, how badly he wanted his own dogs, and how much he loved the ones he bought on his own.

I love it so sad, heart warming, all I can say is that it is a good book

I love the emotional detail that this book has. I love how the boy is attached to his dogs. How ever it is so sad in how the book ends, but you learn why it is called were the red fern grows.

My all time favorite story. I first heard this story when I was in eighth grade. My English teacher read it to me and cried her eyes out. Since I have become a teacher, I have read this book to my 4th grade classes. This year will be my 16th time reading it, and I can't wait. We shed many tears over Little Ann and Big Dan, but I know my past students will never forget Where the Red Fern Grows. Thanks Winston Rawls for a story of a lifetime.

This is an amazing book with sort of a sad ending

This and a wrinkle in time are my all time favorite books. I recommend these books to everyone.

i love the red fern grows because it i very different from other books it tells about a boy who has tew dogs and it tells about his family where they lived on a farm and what they went through and how they did it i recomemend the book it is a mixture of sad and good things
