This book was SO GOOD!! I really don't care what other people say, I LOVED it! Okay, so this delinquent boy is sent to live on an island for a year. But he burns all his supplies (yes, on purpose). Then, he's mauled by a "spirit" bear.

This is not a good book. It's boring, has little to no buildup or action, and bored the heck out of me. There is one OK part when the main character tries to save some birds but even that was dull.
Although this book had a good aspect and lesson behind it i didn't quiet enjoy the story as well as i thought i would. Also this book has many disgusting and completely gruesome parts. I don't recommend this book to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Totally grusome and I wouldn't read it again! If your the kind of person who likes that kind of stuff then I think this is a good book for you. I have to admit that it was well written even if it wasn't my thing!

i decided to read this book, again, because it is a really good book. In my class, we do this thing called literature circle which is where our teacher selects a book for different groups and in our group, we share ou ideas our ideas on the book and the first book i read in literature circle was touching spirit bear and i really liked this book. I think it is amazing! Do you like Touching Spirit Bear?
This book is a good book that shows how a bad person can change into a good person but it is also kind of gross in some ways and a bit violent.
Very good book about a person that is very mean and crazy in the city life and committed crimes who changed into a nicer person. This person was taking to an island of no escape and learned the harsh things of the world. Very good book to read for adventure.
