My mom actually recommended this book to me, so I read it haha. (I read this last year) It takes place in the 1960s and is about a gang of friends. I don't want to spoil too much, but I do recommend this book!! "Stay gold Ponyboy, stay gold"

This book is a coming of age novel, that shows the struggles and hardships of main character Ponyboy's life through an exciting narrative. I really enjoyed it because it seemed to be a fun story while having many important lessons along the way,
