A thrilling new series soars above the competition and redefines middle-grade fantasy fiction for a new generation!

The seven dragon tribes have been at war for generations, locked in an endless battle over an ancient, lost treasure. A secret movement called the Talons of Peace is determined to bring an end to the fighting, with the help of a prophecy -- a foretelling that calls for great sacrifice.

Five dragonets are collected to fulfill the prophecy, raised in a hidden cave and enlisted, against their will, to end the terrible war.

But not every dragonet wants a destiny. And when the select five escape their underground captors to look for their original homes, what has been unleashed on the dragon world may be far more than the revolutionary planners intended . . .

It was so awesome! I actually read this because my friend Noah recommended it to me, but I now see why he likes it so much. It was a adventurous book that was fun,and it is actually better than it sounds. It was great!

love this book it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you love dragons awesomeness and adventure you will love this book. there was a prophesy told about the cuter queen all depending on five dragonets, As they find their way out of their cave in witch they have been trained and taken care of all their lives they realize the world is at war because of the three sister queens waring to see who will be the queen, when the five dragonets are captured how will they get out of this alive read the book to find out.

I could not really get into this book. I had no feeling for the personality of any of the dragons. It lind of made me sad :(

The book is very good so far. in the beginning five dragonets are trapped in a room under a mountain. then they get free but they get captured by Queen Scarlet who is the skywings queen

Clay, Tsunami, Sunny, Glory, and Starflight, a Mudwing, Seawing, Sandwing, Rainwing, and Nightwing, are part of a prophesy that says that they will choose the next Sandwing queen and end the war that has been going on for years. They are held captive in a cave by three dragons (Kestrel, Webs, and Dune) from the Talons of Peace, a group trying to end the war peacefully...or so they say. The prophesy says that a Skywing is required, but the egg broke and Glory was a last minute replacement. Because of this their "guardians" decide to "dispose of" Glory and find a Skywing egg to replace her. The dragonets find out and escape. Jusr outside of their cave they have a close encounter with Queen Scarlet, the cruel queen of the Skywings and the cause of the broken egg, Eventually they end up in the Skywing palace behind bars, in full view of the coliseum, in which they are soon to fight to the death in, and all the horrible fights there. Glory mysteriously disappears, and they go on a big adventure trying to get out. (And find Glory)

i really liked this book i wouldn't give any book five stars unless the book was perfect and that would mean that this is VERY good.
