This book is about 2 girls. Ones name is Ivey the other is bean. Both of there mothers tell them how nice the other girl is but both of the girls said that they did'nt want to meet each other. Finally they meet and at first they don't like each other. In the end they become friends and read to see the adventure that they both go on together.
Ivy and Bean was pretty silly in most of the parts. It was a pretty short book, and I read really fast, so I read it pretty quickly. I liked it enough to read most of the rest of the series, too.
Ivy and Bean is a tale of how two friends meet that are great for each other. One thing- they never meant to like each other. I think you should read this book and the rest of the series

I love this book. Ivy & Bean are really different girls that live across the street from each other. At first Bean doesn't want to play with Ivy, but then when Ivy helps Bean do a prank on her big sister, they become best friends. The book is funny and easy to read.

Bean's mother kept telling her that she should play with Ivy and Ivy's mom kept telling her that she should play with bean. But they never did till one day because Bean was playing a trick on her sister Nancy and she didn't want to get in trouble so she ran into Ivy's yard. then Ivy saw her and ivy was wearing a bathrobe and she had a wand and bean ask why she was wearing a bathrobe an had a wand. Ivy said because I want to be a witch and I am practicing you don't look like a witch I know well let's go in your room and fix you up ok and they did with face paint and then they wanted to do a spell on Nancy and they need Worm's and Bean said she has a mud pile and worms live in there so they jumped backyards till they got to bean's backyard and they dug up worm's and threw the worm's on Nancy and they were best friends .
I decided to read this book because I wanted to know how two people that don't like each other become friends forever. I really liked this book because it tells that you don't need to think you won't like somebody unless you try talking to to them and meeting them.
