Parker Dublin is weird, or at least the other kids at school think so. Entering high school was supposed to be a chance to start over. When her best friend shows up in dowdy overalls on the first day of school, Parker realizes something’s got to change. She doesn’t want to hate the next four years of her life.

In a story of peer pressure, friendship, and growing up, Parker hopes to make memories, kiss cute boys, and make cool friends. But sometimes what you want isn’t what you need. With her self-esteem on the line, will she find her way to popularity or eat a big, dish of humble pie?
