i also wished that his brother didnt die and that he was in the book. didnt like that he was in a gang. loved the ending but didnt like that he didnt stay in nthe war the wholoe time

great book i lovrd the charcters and the setting. my favorite charcter is charly. the only thing that i wish was charley was a soldier not a drummer boy. other wise great book loved it.
