Infiltrate. Befriend. Sabotage.
World War II is raging. Michael O'Shaunessey, originally from Ireland, now lives in Nazi Germany with his parents. Like the other boys in his school, Michael is a member of the Hitler Youth.

But Michael has a secret. He and his parents are spies.

Michael despises everything the Nazis stand for. But he joins in the Hitler Youth's horrific games and book burnings, playing the part so he can gain insider knowledge.

When Michael learns about Projekt 1065, a secret Nazi war mission, things get even more complicated. He must prove his loyalty to the Hitler Youth at all costs -- even if it means risking everything he cares about.

Including... his own life.

From acclaimed author Alan Gratz (Prisoner B-3087) comes a pulse-pounding novel about facing fears and fighting for what matters most.

This book is great book about a child spying on germany it is a bit mature as multiple people die bad deaths

The summary of the story is, is that it takes place during the holocaust and Michael O'Shaunessey has a secret he’s a spy for the opposite side of the war. Micheal joined the Hitler youth group and was acting like he wasn’t a spy until the end then it a changed. It was kind of hard to understand, because it was a lot of back and forth. I made a connection to this book, it was a text-to-self, it was like a movie I saw on the holocaust. I rate it four stars, because it did have death and it was unfair, other than that it was a good book.

This is about a boy named Michael O'Shaunessey, he and his parents are spies for the Allies. His father is the Irish Ambassador and that was the reason why they were so close to Hitler. He had a real armband just like the real s.s. First, it starts out that Fritz a boy in school shows him the blueprints to Projekt 1065, a important jet that the Allies need models for so they can invent it before the Nazis. On a search, he knows where the allies airman had dropped. So he leads all the other kids the wrong direction before rescuing the pilot and putting him into a safe place. Just like that things start happening, Simon the airman asks for the blue print and since Michael has a photo graphic memory he can just draw the blue print from his mind. Then, with all his might he needs to get on that Swiss invasion plan which is to murder Professor Goldstein and he has to stop them because the professor is the one that helps generate the ideas for the jet. Then, Fritz sees him take out the blueprints and hides them so he alerts the others and and secretly they set a trap that doesn't work. According to the plan they will set a bomb and that will go off....which however doesn't go off in the right place and the professor and Michael and Michael's family all survive.

Michael O'Shaunessey and his parents moved to Germany because his father is the Ireland Ambassador. Like all the books at his school he is apart of the Hitler Youth group - but not Like the other boys he and his parents are spies. Michael and his family hates Nazis but they have to pretend to like them in order to keep the secret. When Michael finds out about Projekt 1065 he know this could be very important to find out more about it. There is really only three words you can use to describe this book - Heartbreaking - dramatic - emotional. Recommended to 13+ Thanks for reading -Ajg16's reviews

Hard Critic Hard Critic

This book is a great book, the writing style is undeniably perfect for people in 5th to 8th, but its spy plot is almost written as if it's a James Bond screenplay. It sometimes gets completely ridiculous! A lot of the parts of this book are great and extremely historically accurate, while some, (like the time the main character fights on top of a moving train on top of the Swiss Alps at just thirteen, not making this up), are total gibberish. It is a wonderful page turner that will instantly get you hooked, but calling this an accurate history novel is simply untrue in every way.

I really love this book. It's awesome i love the story about michael. And his friend friz spoilers alert and. At the end michael betray's friz and he. Die's best world war 2 book.
