This book is about a girl named Dorrie. She is Jewish. Her teacher at the end of the semester she hosts sweet semester. Dorrie is very excited. This year the winner are going to be in the newspaper. Dorrie really wants to win. Her family in Europe was suffering from after a war and her aunt is getting married. Her aunt has to move away. The person who is still alive from the war is coming to american to spend the holidays with Dorrie and her family. The guest helps Dorrie in sweet semester and guess what? We I am NOT going to tell you unless you read the book!
