Spider-Man: Homecoming is FRESH and FUN! This movie is true to the classic Spider-Man spirit of being funny and exciting! After Captain America: Civil War, Peter Parker is thrilled with his experience and is eager to join the Avengers. It's not easy for Peter to balance high school with crime-fighting but soon his powers are put to the test against the villain Vulture. Peter will need to decide what kind of hero he will be and just who he is without the suit. This is hands down, the BEST version of Spider-Man ever! Tom Holland SOARS as the web-slinging hero bringing his wit, charm, kindness, bravery, (and adorableness!) to this movie. Peter is my FAVORITE Marvel superhero (yes!) and he's the most relatable to me: he's been bullied and he's just trying to survive his teenage years. Now with powers, Peter must handle them maturely and make important changes to take on the role of a leader. Not only is this movie action-packed, it has a lot of lessons for everyone. It's so easy to give up but Peter NEVER gave up and even when he was frustrated, he stayed true to himself and to his cause. Iron-Man also had some growth in this movie as a father figure who mentors Peter and gives him the confidence to make the right choice. I LOVED this movie! I laughed at the clever jokes and I cried when Peter felt he wasn't strong enough to get up and fight. Spider-Man is an inspiration and even moreso to me and I look forward to seeing him again in Infinity War and the Homecoming sequel. This is the epitome of a fun time at the movies!
