This movie was not terrible, but it did disappoint me comparing to the other two movies. ( SPOILER ) Addison's character development felt rushed and not planned out. In every movie Addison cannot help to feel like she doesn't belong in any group or pack which feels unnecessary to add to her character. Considering she had been welcomed as a human, a wolf, and now an alien- it feels like this was just added to develop a storyline which clearly made no sense. This movie has also changed my view on Addison especially because she had been developed into being more about herself than for Zed who was there for her- which he only tried going to college so they could be together. The music was wonderful as every movie but many of them were hard to hear or understand because of the loud background noises (thunder, screaming, ect). Not to mention that the Aliens felt more like AI (Robots) than actual aliens, in summary, their acting was awful. Besides from all the backlash, if this movie maybe had more planning and better character development, this movie would be okay. However, how the aliens in this movie were scripted to act, you could tell that they were from a whole other galaxy, explaining their acting. I caught my self laughing out loud at some of the things they would say though. The Werwolf’s Seabrook attitude added to their sass honestly was just everything. Costumes and hair were pretty good except for when Addison had blue hair because you can see the lace, but I mean not everything can be perfect. I will say, however, that the songs definitely didn’t come close to the songs in Zombies 1 and 2. They weren’t bad but the writers could have put a little more thought into the lyrics. This movie was not terrible, but it did disappoint me comparing to the other two movies. Definitely would not want to watch it again.

Good plot, fast-moving, just weird enough to be funny and a little subversive, deeply silly and completely unpretentious but fails to exploit all the possibilities of an origin story. A movie full of goofs, gaffs, and most definitely laughs, really made me feel special inside. The film gave me hope, hope that society isn’t truly failed. The way that Bob, Kevin, and Stuart bonded together throughout the film was truly breathtaking, the way that they showed their appreciation for Gru really made me reflect on the world today. The fact that Gru can have that powerful of a bond with Minions who don’t speak his language is extremely empowering. The movie shows how us as a society can overlook our differences to show love for one another the type of love that makes you tingly inside. The plot twist at the end really was incredible, I mean truly, to not spoil it, the scene honestly had me shed a tear, it was a masterpiece every moment something powerful was happening it’s a truly underrated film and puts other movies to shame. To say that it is the best animated movie ever would be an understatement, honestly I believe this is the best film ever, never had I seen an auditorium full of such nicely dressed individuals cheer loud and proud at a film. I can’t express enough how amazed I was from start to finish and I truly from the bottom of my heart thank everyone with involvement in the making of the film, the work you did to create such a classic will forever be admired, this film will be cherished by my family for generations to come. This film will live forever as it should and I really hope to see more from Gru and his silly little minions.
