1. The Stanford researchers were trying to find the answer to how long is an average kid's memory. a. It was important to know because some teachers would like to know things like that. 2. They got a group of 28 kids from ages 7-9 and had them take a " math test.". Then a year after that they took the same kids a did the same test. This time, the kids were better at memorizing the facts because their memory was long term. So they did the same thing to the the same kids when they were adults, and they were even better because their memory got longer as they got older. 3. The kids got a longer memory as they got older. a. Dr. Menon plans on investigating even farther.
