This is an amazing story of a inspirational gut who can unbelievably play ping pong or table tennis with his mouth. It was quite interesting to watch him using his mouth and being as good as world champions. I agree with everyone that he is extremely good and it would be great to see more from him. It is very sad that he had an accident. Does anyone know what happened that made him armless? If so, please reply. HollyP

Hamato is very inspiring. I don't know what I would do with no arms. Hamato lost his arms at the age of ten due to an accident. Three years later he wanted to keep on playing table tennis as he loved it but could not work out how to hold the racket under his arm. He did not stop there instead he persevered until he he found a way to play, using his mouth. This is his saying, 'Nothing is impossible as long as you work hard.' This video shows exactly that. With all the hard work that he put in he ended up being invited to compete in the ZEN-NOH 2014 Team table tennis championships. I find it interesting how Hamato achieved all of these amazing achievements with this giant disadvantage of having no arms! He even won some medals at the Paralympics! I agree with Hamato and certainly hope that more people that are disabled have the courage to achieve the impossible and work hard to do what they love. I believe that this article would be better if it had given a bit more of background information such as instead of saying that he lost his arms at the age of ten, saying how. Emily

Since the age of ten, Hamato has had no arms to play his favourite sport, table tennis and has no choice but to find another way to play it. Hamato now plays table tennis with the paddle in his mouth and can still play with amazing ability. He has inspired many and taught them to never give up as he says 'Nothing's impossible as long as you work hard'! He has become so good that he has recently been invited to ZEN-NOH 2014 World Team Table Tennis Championship. He has worked hard and earned his dream. Jessica
