WOW!! Gelgi is so inspiring! She takes the hurtful comments people say about her and turns them into things to be proud of! What an icon! And I'm so glad she got to ride an airplane for the first time! At first, when I saw the article title, I thought she would be in her late 20's and early 30's. But she's only 24 and over 7 feet tall already! That's kind of superhuman! It's so nice of Turkish Airlines to remove 6 seats off of the plane to help Gelgi fit on the stretcher though! I looked up more information on the condition she has, Weaver syndrome, and I found that although there is no cure for this, the people who do have them tend to live healthy lives! I hope she has a long life ahead of her!! ❤️❤️❤️

That's so cool! It's like these birds have superpowers or something! I mean, to be able to just fly into a storm is pretty scary to think about! 11 years of analyzed data using trackers on over 401 shearwaters is a LONG time though. I guess it's just enough time needed to be able to make the final analysis on why these birds fly into storms! I did a little research and found that because of their configuration and the location of their feet on their body, no shearwater is ever truly able to move comfortably around on land! That sort of explains why they don't usually just sit on land during storms! Did you know that a study on Sooty Shearwaters found that they migrate in the range of 64,000 km in a single year, which gives them the longest migration ever recorded electronically of any animal on Earth? That's a really long flight! Anyways, I found this article really interesting! Me personally, I would stay inside my house and wait out the storm! 😅😅😅

When faced with hurricanes and typhoons, many ocean-dwelling birds make huge detours to avoid the storm.  But not the streaked shearwaters!  A new study led by Professor Ken Yod...

It's pretty cool how things as simple as fishing could become a competitive sport in high school! I just found out that walking is an actual sport as well! Though I probably wouldn't participate in fishing sports, I do love beach volleyball, and volleyball, as well as track! #sports4life

I definitely would've eaten some candy while waiting to get out! If that were me, I would've filled my pockets with the stuff haha! He was a really lucky kid though! Though the mother must've been terrified for his safety... 🍀🍭🍭

Oh my! I know climate change was bad, but this is terrible! Even 3 years later, this is still a problem! I just hope craters don't form near towns and cities!

It's like ice-cream in the form of stretchy candy, sort of like gum! I would really love to taste it, I and a lot of people love ice-cream!
