There are many variables to this experiment. As I was thinking about what I wrote before it really depends on how much of the space was exposed (all of it when it is in the air, or just a little it it is in a cup/container)About 10 years agovonicat replied to a comment in
The theory would most likely work. Why? because of the way the subatomic particles in an atom move around. Technically in a gas, the subatomic particles are just moving quicker than in a liquid, so if the actual temperature (the one that we can feel) of the subsistence is an important factor, than your theory would most likely be correct. However, I think that the temperature that we can feel doesn't go into effect of this theory at all because if it is based on the temperature that the atoms make while moving about that would make more sense. Explanation: If the difference between the freezing temp v.s temp of boiling water is large enough then the sudden change of temperature could effect the time it takes to freeze! btw, i'm also in 6th gradeAbout 10 years agodaemienk101 added a new comment in
