  I would like to win this book for my brother because two of his favorite things are basketball and math, so I think he would really like this book, it's the perfect fit for him. I also think it would be cool to learn about what's behind the game that everyone watches on their TV and see all the logic and math that forms basketball. I love all sports and love to learn about them, so what better way to do that than through a book!

  I really, really, really LOVE basketball! It's my second favorite sport of all time! It's amazing! The luck, the confidence, the players, the friends! It's all there! The thing is, though, have a hard time scoring a point, so I think that this book can give me some pointers on scoring! I love math, and since the two kind of go together from the sound and look of this book, I thinks this book will help me greatly! Please pick me!

  There is a kid in my P.E class. He is super tall and beats everyone in basketball! I think that with this book, I'll be able to learn how to play better and finally beat him in march madness!   Locally, we have NO basketball teams focused on girls. The travel and rec teams are all boys, not a single team has girls. Some of my more athletic friends and me are our own team, in gym class, mostly, but we practice in alleys and driveways and etc. We play with our younger siblings and cousins, and whoever is a girl who couldn't get into a basketball team nearby. That's us, but we can't play with every girl in the world. If you're reading this and do the same thing (or even better, protest), I'm saying TY from the bottom of my heart =) I would love this book, and I'm not the only person to read it, (there's a whole world out there, right?). I don't know what we'll learn but it helps to learn your trade. My copy isn't really mine, it's my friends' too and I make it a point to donate books when I'm done with them.
