Hey everyone! This will be my first book recommends! Ok, so I recently finished reading the new book called "A Place to Hang the Moon" This book related to WW2, and in the end of book, it have book list from 3 fictional charcters! That it for now!

Oh, wow! I read that book too! If you like WW2 stuff, try "The War That Saved My Life". It is super good! BTW, I missed seeing your posts!

I will try reading "The War That Saved My Life" i`ll put this book on my book list to read. I just LOVE history so much, (obvious!) And also, I missed seeing your posts, too!

That's great! It is such a good book! I love history too!

Yea I agree! I think I would rather do history more than doing math, math is my at least favorite subject for school, so...no judgement!

Hey everyone! My end of year school holidays are coming up (I live in Australia so currently school is almost over this year!), comment what activities you love doing in the holidays! I love to ride my bike, play tennis and chill at home!

Oh, gosh! You confused me but I just realized that since you live in the Southern Hemisphere....gotcha! Well, I like giving gifts to the fam, and hanging with friends and family during the holiday season!

You live in Australia? That's cool! During the winter holidays, I like going sledding and drinking hot chocolate, or just sitting on the couch and chilling. When it's summer, I like going to the park or the pool. We don't really have fall or spring weather where I live, it's either always cold or always hot.

Do you live in Texas? I used to and it sounds similar.

No, I live in Minnesota (it's actually hot here during the summer).

Oh, cool beans! Minnesota is such a pretty state! 😀

It's SO cool that you live in Australia. I live in the USA. Do you like living in Australia?

If it's cold I love to sit inside and watch something or play a game like charades or clue, and sometimes even bake a little. If it's hot then maybe go outside and get a little wet😁or have something cold like ice cream. If it's fall, hmmm, I usually like to bake or read. If it's spring then I usually do the same as Fall

By the way I would either play tennis or softball for a sport on the holidays

Hmm well depending on the time of the year, if it's cold I just like to sit inside and play games, if it's sunny and warm I would just play outside, and if it's fall (my favorite season! not too hot nor too cold!), I just like to do cross country and volleyball since I have school in the fall anyways! And lucky you, I just started school! Have a good break!

Hi everyone! Fun fact: The etruscan shrew has 800 stomachs. Also, here are some random book recommendations. Kids' books: The Warriors series by Erin Hunter, Wings of Fire series by Tui T. Sutherland, Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan, Explorer Academy by Trudi Trueit. Adult books: The Client by John Grisham, The Scarpetta series by Patricia Cornwell, The Ursulina by Brian Freeman, Target Acquired by Tom Clancy. I hope y'all are having a great summer/school year so far!

Thanks for the awesome fact! I looked up the etruscan shrew, it's sooo small! And some of your recommendations I have read! Really good selection! Thanks for this!

oh yeah i am reading the survivors series by Erin Hunter

Hey i haven't been on DOGO for a while. Went to Montana for camp with my church and it was AMAZING! I have finished my first week of school, and am soooooo happy to be back on DOGO. If anybody went to Great Western Presbytery Teen Camp in Montana pls tell and friend me pleaseeeeee. Thank You!!!! ~ PetVet09 P.S. Im homeschooled P.P.S. Who else here has entered 8th grade besides me??

I have been to Montana, but I've never lived there. I'm in 7th grade, but I have a friend who's in 8th. Good luck with 8th grade!

Hi! I haven't been on Dogo for a while too, so no judgement from me! I haven't been to that camp, but I am glad you had fun! To be honest, I've never gone to any camp, only VBSs at my former church back in LV. I guess I always think I'd miss my parents too much. Plus, I don't like talking to strangers. I'm in 7th grade but we're close! Good luck! (P.S I started last week too!)

Same! My cousin also just entered 8th grade, I`m only in 7th grade, so u`re not alone, at least!

Aww man I wish I went to Montana! It's soooo cool up there! And congrats on your first week! Also my sister just entered 8th grade, you're not alone, you're gonna do great!

Woo... how does it feel like being homeschooled?

ive been in public school before and i like public better lol

Well.....ive been homeschooled all my life so. Its fun tho. I like it. How does it feel to be public schooled?

Wow.. I mean, there are pros and cons to going to a public school. For example, you can make new friends almost everyday! A con is all of the drama.. Phew! But I love school in a weird way, it's like a second home to me! Sort of haha.

great ! I love homeschooling , I don't know about the rest but I think its a lot of fun! 😏

WHAT I AM ABOUT TO "SAY" IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!!! Okay, now that I've gotten your attention I would like to say that we are in a severe climate crisis right now and if you haven't heard yet, there are severe droughts all over the world. Not only is it affecting us, but it is also affecting the plants and animals. And that is only one problem we have, there are so many more, like deforesting, pollution, and we NEED to take action. I'm not writing this to get a bunch of likes, no I am serious. Once you read this tell the people around you to take action! Little things can make a BIG difference!

Great post! Loving this post, and also, yeah, I agree, could it be an climate change?????????

I'm gonna be honest..I'm afraid of everything and climate change is one of my fears. I'm scared of anything that can possibly make something bad happen. also its like we have a whose bunch of activists on Dojo lol.

Oh, wow! @dream_beyond turn climate activist! I'm just teasing, I agree. Most of you know where I live, but if you are new to the club, I live in New York. Here we are experiencing drought and it is really hurting plants and grass. Great post! 😃

yesss thats what im talkin about!!!!!!!!! this is acttualy serious guys

I agree. We really need to start doing things 🌱🌱🌳🌎🏞❤🌎

I totally agree! We humans have dug ourselves into the hole of climate change by burning coal, cutting down trees, etc. We need to get OUT of this hole. But right now, there aren't that many realistic and affordable solutions. Most people can't afford electric cars and solar panels. Still, we need to do things like planting more trees in places where they'll survive, stop killing animals and eating so much meat, and making solar/wind/hydro power more affordable. Save the earth!

I totally agree. Solar panels and electric cars are expensive but honestly it i'll be a huge money saver in the long run.

i agree, This world isn't going to get better if we don't do any action now. unfortunately there's not much I can do because my parents won't let me donate to anything! But whoever can donate, please do!

I know!! I have been saying that on so many articles, but it usually always ends up on the second page of comments where no one can see!! I agree with you, we, as a species, need to help slow down the climate crisis! We are definitley changing climates right now, but how humans go about their everyday lives are just speeding it up! Way to fast to be natural! If this keeps going at the scary rate it's going in, we'll lose so many plants & animals!Things you can do right now is: Close doors immediately so heat does not escape. Take short showers. Walk or bike if you can (instead of having your parents drive you). Turn off your computer when not in use. Run the dishwasher and other appliances on energy saver mode. Keep the house at 68°F or less. And make sure the heat goes off at night and when everyone is away. Replace incandescent with fluorescent lights. (This saves a lot of money!) Convince others around you to do the same! We together can make a big difference before it's too late!
