Yet, landlords with "no pet policy" or those who charge a pet deposit or monthly fees may be violating Federal Law.
There's a confusion on the difference between a service or an emotional support animal.
Both are recognized by Federal Law
Yet, they're different, each in its own legal category.

* All Service Animals are Dogs
* Emotional Support Animals can be Dog, Cat, Bird or other domestic animal
* Service Animals must be registered
* Emotional Support Animals are not required to be registered
* Service Animals must be trained to perform their a task
* Emotional Support Animals require no training
* Service Animal owners must answer questions and explain the dogs training if the handler attempts to travel on an airplane. The animal may fly free in passenger cabin
