Calling all Raina Telgemeier fans! The Newbery Honor-winning author of Roller Girl is back with a heartwarming graphic novel about starting middle school, surviving your embarrassing family, and the Renaissance Faire.
Eleven-year-old Imogene (Impy) has grown up with two parents working at the Renaissance Faire, and she's eager to begin her own training as a squire. First, though, she'll need to prove her bravery. Luckily Impy has just the quest in mind—she'll go to public school after a life of being homeschooled! But it's not easy to act like a noble knight-in-training in middle school. Impy falls in with a group of girls who seem really nice (until they don't) and starts to be embarrassed of her thrift shop apparel, her family's unusual lifestyle, and their small, messy apartment. Impy has always thought of herself as a heroic knight, but when she does something really mean in order to fit in, she begins to wonder whether she might be more of a dragon after all.

As she did in Roller Girl, Victoria Jamieson perfectly—and authentically—captures the bittersweetness of middle school life with humor, warmth, and understanding.

this book is about the trouble of middle school the Imogene encounters like being cool avoiding bullys and teachers who just don't understand. Every month she has a Faire that is old fashion theme with her parents & it's a little embarrassing seeing her friends there though.

This book is pretty accurate about what middle school is like.

I’m just gonna stop saying I love graphic novels because I’m probably being so annoying, but it really is true. All’s Faire in Middle School is from the same author as Roller Girl, which I loved, so I had to read this! It’s about a girl named Imogene who lives with her family in the renaissance faire, and has been homeschooled her whole life. She wants to go to real middle school, but it’s not as easy as she had thought. Mean friends, bullying, and even her being mean is all just part of what she had to go through to find who she actually belonged with, and who she truly was. 10/10 would recommend this book! It’s amazing!! ;D

Imogene's parents own a renaissance fair . Imogene has been home schooled with her brother Felix her whole life. But now she is going to public school. And tries really hard to fit in . But she has a hard time because of her "friends " which are really bullies . They said she needs certain shoes , pants and stuff but when she got them it wasn't good enough. But everything turns out good . Read the book!. I recommend this book to all ages and I rate this book 4/5 stars 😁 - Pizzagirl7 😁

This book is a graphic novel written by the author Victoria Jamieson. Eleven-year-old Imogene , or Impy, has always been home schooled at the Renaissance Faire where her parents work. So, she's more then a little bit nervous to go to middle school for the first time. Middle school is a lot different then Impy thought, so she's pleasantly surprised when she immediately makes ¨friends". Will Impy survive middle school? And will she find out what true friends really are? Read the book to find out!
