Dr. Seuss, the author of classics such "The Cat in the Hat" and "Green Eggs and Ham", holds a special place in the hearts of kids as well as parents who grew up reading his quirky novels. It is estimated that even today, one in every four children in America receive a Dr. Seuss as their first book.
Every March, parents and students all across America celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday by reading and re-reading his books. This year the celebration is even more special as one of his most popular books "Horton Hears a Who", is being released as a movie all across the country on Friday the 14th.
The movie is about Horton an Elephant, who hears a small speck of dust talking to him. It turns out that the speck is actually a tiny planet, where even tinier inhabitants known as "Who's" reside. They ask Horton for help - and he agrees only to find that other animals who cannot hear the "Who's" think he is a little crazy. In the end the animals find out that Horton was not crazy and that any person, no matter how small, should be heard and protected. Enjoy the special seven-minute sneak preview of the movie.
