okay, first of all, why is this book for younger girls and second, why was it split into two volumes? it is missing imformation on like using tampons and other stuff, and why doesnt tell girls about boys development as well? i own the old version annd its more complete than this one. American girl messed up onthis book. and what about the lqbtq+ girls?(im not one, but still) not reccomended.

This book is a great book for 9-11 year old girls to learn what to expect when their bodies are changing
I recommend thisbook for girls ages eight to about thirteen and maybe fourteen. The Care and Keeping of You teaches tweens and early teen girls about the things that protect them, clean them, changes ahead, and important ways to break bad habits. Girls can learn about what to expect of their period, what bra size is right, showing off braces, and eating the right food. They learn to balance their moods. Girls on Dogo ought to try this! It is a miracle! I wasn't worried about getting braces anyway, and I actually am excited to get them! Try this and you'll be confident!
Only read this book if you are around the age 10 or up, this book helps you prepare for the changes ahead.
