The Eleventh Plague
By Jeff Hirsch
Endy
This book overall really got me inspired to write my personal dystopian story of the rebelling of Androids in Detroit because of how well it described the world around the main character and all the challenges that lay ahead of him as well as the fight to become civilized in a world that won’t allow it. Stephen is just a 15 year old, but he did things that even the toughest man would shed blood and tears just to do them. He is the prime example of someone who was raised in -and accustomed to- hell who also went through the greatest possible pain of becoming less savage. Though the ending was not as nostalgic as I thought it would be with all the bulging sadness before it, I liked this book and I recommend it to you all, especially for those looking to find out how teens flirt during apocalypses.
Ava and Taco Cat (Ava and Pip)
By Carol Weston
I love this book because it has mini conflicts and then a main conflict. The feelings you might have after reading this book will probably be: happy, knowledgeable, sad and mixed emotions. This book is filled with humor and jokes. I loved reading this book and I hope you will enjoy it to.

Guitar Notes
By Mary Amato
When I saw Guitar Notes on the shelf in the library, I picked it up without a clue what it was about. I had no idea how much I would love it. Tripp Broody loves to play the guitar, but his mom took his guitar away. When he plays his guitar, he always feels happy and in his own magical place. So he uses the practice room on odd calendar days. Lyla Marks is the best cellist in the school, and has won multiple awards for her spectacular playing. She, however, isn't happy when she plays, but with the pressure of her dad, best friend Annie, and her reputation of being the best, continues to enter contests and play the cello. She uses the same practice room as Tripp on even calendar days. Soon, Tripp and Lyla start leaving notes for each other, and those notes grow into a big friendship between them. Both of their lives are changed forever because of the friendship that no one would have thought Lyla and Tripp could have. Guitar Notes is a great book. I really like how it shows how two very different people connect in such an amazing way. I would recommend this book to boys and girls ages 10+.

Library Book: Boxes for Katje (Rise and Shine)
By National Geographic Learning
I really enjoyed this book, because it is fun and interesting how people did that and sent the girl in the book Katje the boxes with the things the people in Holland needed at that time. I also liked the end.
