Harry Potter: A Journey Through a History of Magic

Harry Potter: A Journey Through a History of Magic

By British Library

This book is very interesting. It covers much of the behind the scenes work that went into making the series, as well as some drawing, and other interesting things. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars, is because it just isn’t my kind of book. Others will enjoy it though!

The Neptune Project

The Neptune Project

By Polly Holyoke

I started to read this book because the back cover of the book was seriously interesting: A girl finds out that the reason why she is socially awkward and has weak lungs & eyes is because she was genetically altered to survive under the sea. I mean, how awesome is that? (She can also talk telepathically.) I won't spoil the rest, but this book was, like, the second best book I've ever read. At first I had doubts about reading it, but now I can just escape a boring situation by thinking about it.I was

Mary Poppins Series (4 Book Series)

Mary Poppins Series (4 Book Series)

By P. L. Travers, P. L. Travers

These books.. where do I start? I loved it! I got the entire series for Christmas, and finally finished...three years ago? When I was little I wanted to BE Mary Poppins. I mean seriously, who doesn't? This is one of my all-time favorites, and Travers really does a good job bringing the characters to life, to the point where you wouldn't be surprised to see them walking the streets or in your school.

Gulliver's Travels

Gulliver's Travels

By Jonathan Swift

This book is about a man and how he travels to different places. Sometimes he's a giant, other times he is extremely small. I rate this book 4 stars because it was a little confusing at times. There is a movie about this book, that is extremely good!! I recommend this book to the people who like classics and adventure. Read this book and watch the movie to learn all about Gulliver's Travels!

Scooby-Doo! In Jungle Jeopardy

Scooby-Doo! In Jungle Jeopardy

By Jesse Leon McCann

Scooby Doo in Jungle Jeopardy is another adventure for the gang. A scientist friend of Mystery Inc.'s invites them on an archaeological dig in the jungle. Scooby and the gang are terrorized by suspicious "cat creatures". They end up underground in a hidden treasure room after Shaggy and Scooby fall into a ditch. They outsmart the cat creeps and trap them. When they remove their masks they see the cat creatures are some other scientists on the dig! Haha, I know I'm almost in high school, but I read this book to my little brother, and I couldn't pass up giving a review. 10/10 would not recommend (unless you're 4-7)! ;P

Luciana: Out of This World (American Girl: Girl of the Year 2018, Book 3)

Luciana: Out of This World (American Girl: Girl of the Year 2018, Book 3)

By Erin Teagan

I JUST finished the book. It is by far the most interesting of the 3 Luciana books. It talks about how she and Clair survive earthquakes, fires, and finally learn how to be friends.

National Geographic Readers: Rocks and Minerals

National Geographic Readers: Rocks and Minerals

By Kathleen Weidner Zoehfeld

I really liked this book because it introduced me to a lot of geology that my dad has never talked to me about, even though he is a geologist. The book is packed with interesting geological facts and very colorful photographs about everything to do with geology. The pictures of gems and unusual rock formations are particularly fascinating. It makes me want to do some rock hunting.
