Worlds Apart (Story Thieves)

Worlds Apart (Story Thieves)

By James Riley

This is the last book in the Story Thieves series, and I loved it! I didn't want the series to end, but it sadly did. This book is about bringing the fictional and non-fiction Bethanys back together and forming the old Bethany. Own needs to stop Nobody with Bethany, but he needs Bethany's help. Can they stop Nobody in time before both worlds collapse? I loved this finale, and I beg for more, even though there not going to be a new one.

Secret Origins (Story Thieves)

Secret Origins (Story Thieves)

By James Riley

It is incredible. The book has major plot twists and is a great continuation to the first 2, but the book lacks closure and doesn't tie up loose ends. It makes sense since it is in the series, but I wish it would give some sort of ending for at least one of the characters. I will still give it 2 stars since the Jupiter City comic book makes up for the lack of closure and the dad is super cool!

Mia Fashion Plates and Cupcakes (Cupcake Diaries)

Mia Fashion Plates and Cupcakes (Cupcake Diaries)

By Coco Simon

Coco Simon brings back her sweet way of writing to the eighteenth book of her beloved "Cupcake Diaries" series. in this book, Mia Valez-Cruz decides to join a fashion club because of her friend Beth, but she realizes that mean girl Olivia is in it as well. As Mia tries to juggle her Cupcake Club duties, friendships, fashion show planning, and feuds with Olivia, she finds herself overwhelmed and wonders why she joined the fashion club in the first place. But Mia isn't a quitter, and she'll see the fashion show through. I love all the Cupcake Diaries books, I didn't particularly absolutely adore this one though. It's a little too slowly paced for me and Beth's non-opinionated personality drabs up the whole story, making it a bit dreary. However, I still liked it and I would recommend it if you are into food and fashion.
