This is the second book in the Perfect Score series, and it was just as good as the first book, which is not the case in most series. It is in the perspectives of the Recruits again, and they are going on a whole new adventure. You might remember from the first book that the Recruits found out that Mrs. Magenta and Mrs. Woods were related. While keeping their knowledge a secret, they are trying to mend the broken relationship, but it turns out to be harder than they thought. On top of that one secret, the Recruits are keeping secrets from each other because 7th grade isn't what they thought it would be, it is a big giant rollercoaster that they didn't agree to ride on. Randi finds a brother she never knew she had at a gymnastics camp, Gavin and Scott are having trouble with their football coach, Trevor is having family trust issues even though his brother finally got out of the house, and Natalie is trying to keep everyone together . As the Recruits battle through problems they didn't know even existed, they realize their need for each other and come out on top just in time for Christmas. This is a very lovable book that can be very funny but still has a good message. The multiple perspectives show you every view on the events that happen throughout the story. I cannot wait to read the third book and would recommend this series to middle schoolers.

The book "Sophie the Awesome" is a terrific book. It is about a third grader named Sophie, who wants to be called by special name. After thinking and thinking of a new name, it finally hits her. She decides to be Sophie the Awesome! But, to have that name, she must prove that she really is awesome. Join Sophie and her best friend Kate in this funny, creative and exciting story.

I have read this book in 3rd grade and I begged my (ex) best friend to get it too so we could be like Caitlyn and Callie. I think this is probably one of my best books that are going to be in my (future) childhood collection! Tia & Tamera Mowry have such teamwork that what I think is that they are one of the characters are based on one of them.

I decided to read this book because by the cover and by reading the summary on the back, I thought this book would be very interesting. It was about this girl named Heidi that went to school for the first time ever. This is because she was always homeschooled by her mother with her little brother. She didn't want to go to school in the first place, but she had no choice but to go. She thought it was going to be bad but she made a new friend. But she also made an enemy that didn't like her. But, she found many ways to avoid her even though that girl did horrible things to Heidi. She decided she likes school after all. I liked this book a lot because I thought it was very interesting. This is why I gave this book a 4 star.

This is a great book. The book is about a rich kid called Mark and he moves to New Hampshire. He doesn't pay attention in class so his science teacher thinks he is a slacker when. When Mark ruins a science demonstration by telling what was going to happen. His science teacher defently doesn't like him. His science teacher wich i don't remember the name of tells him that after Christmas break they are going to have a event called a week in the woods. When Mark goes his friend shows him a knife that they aren't supposed to have at a week in the woods. When his science teacher comes saying hi to everyone he sees the knife that Mark is holding and assumes that its his. He is put in a truck while his science teacher dials his parents phone number. Mark sneaks out of the truck, grabs his backpack with all his stuff in it and heads in the woods. While he is gone his science teacher figures out the knife wasn't his because Mark's friend's name was scratched into the handle and he sets out to find out Mark. Mark finds his science teacher at night wounded and while they head back to camp together his science teacher forgives him. Mark starts paying attention in class and stays in New Hampshire.

This book was amazing! Before the Mineral Wells talent show, Theo is torn between magic and music, friends and family, wondering who he should perform with. The Magic Misfits meet a girl named Emily, and he starts developing a crush on her, but the others don't trust her. Her father, Mick Meridian, made Theo's prized violin and many other things. The Misfits then find out a ventriloquist known as Wendel Whispers is coming to town, and they think he is working for an enemy and that they can solve another mystery about Dante Vernon's past. For those who read the book, I may have discovered something about the cover. You'll probably understand what I mean if you've finished it. The white stuff behind Theo, that's not smoke...

Alexis's life is spiraling out of her control. Since she was born on an Eventide, the beginning of a new age in her town Jackalfax, she is cursed to die on midnight the next Eventide, along with all the other kids that were unluckily born on that day as well, which makes her a bad-luck charm throughout her town. But when Eventide unexpectedly occurs early, Morrigan receives a mysterious letter from a man called Jupiter North, asking her to become his apprentice. It's an amazing opportunity, and even though it's almost midnight, she signs it, as all her hope is not yet lost. Suddenly, a strange man appears in her room, and with a narrow escape from midnight that Eventide, they crash through the massive clock tower of the town and are transported into seemingly into another world, a magical place called Nevermoor, thus cheating her death! The man, as Morrigan finds out, is the one and only Jupiter North! He brings her to his grand hotel and he tells her that he is entering her into a series of trials determining if she can get into the prestigious Wundrous Society, something Morrigan soon desperately wants to become part of, so she can finally be part of a family. She will have to compete against 500 other kids who are also competing for the few spots available, and if she can make it past the first few trials, she will have to present her special "knack" to the judges. But Morrigan has no clue what her special talent is, or how she'll figure it out! This question presses her as she is tested through every twist and turn of the Trials. Will Morrigan ever figure out her knack and become part of the Wondrous Society? Or will she have to be taken back to Jackalfax and face a terrible fate? I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BOOK! No joke, this is literally one of my favorite books OF. ALL. TIME!! If it was possible to give this book 10 stars, I would!! The plot is gripping and magical. I loved the action and suspense of the Trials, and one of my favorite parts is Christmas-- it is so so good! I cannot wait until the next book comes out! Jessica Townsend is a fantastic author and I love how she shaped the characters throughout the book. I really enjoyed this book, and I highly recommend this book to any fantasy-loving person, and everybody else as well! :)
