I really liked this book because it is very meaningful. It is very meaningful because its about a boy and his mom just died and then he's sent to a new school so he doesn't have any friends. But he saw a kid that he thought was kinda odd but then they became friends. So when his friend goes on a adventure he comes with him...

Witches

Witches

By Ann Iosa

The Witches This story is about a boy called Bruno Jinks that lived in England. His father and mother had died in a car crash going to Norway so Bruno had to live with his grandma in Norway. His granny told him all about witches in Norway, but she said that they were different in all the countries... When they had to go to live back to England and Bruno was in his old house, he climbed into his new tree house that his best friend Timmy had built. A young woman came and said that she had a present for him but he remembered what his granny had said about witches and told that woman to go away. Do you think Bruno’s granny was a witch? What do you think the witches are going to do with Bruno? Read it and you will find out. Don't miss it! I enjoyed this book because it is a funny and crazy book with a lot of suspense. Roald Dahl is a very creative author and very exaggerated. For example, if someone is thin it would be very thin and that makes it funny. He invents new words and those words are funny. I recommend this story to children who like suspense and who are between 10 or 20 years old because it is a little scary too.

Guess How Much I Love You

Guess How Much I Love You

By Sam McBratney

This book is among those amazing classics that hold a special place in my heart. When I was younger, (some would argue that I am still young , but the keyword is younger, not young,) my mother would read this book with me multiple times everyday.

Somewhere Among

Somewhere Among

By Annie Donwerth-Chikamatsu

When you look at this book, it is pretty thick and you might not like it by only looking at it. One reason is that the book is tooooo thick that you think it is not your level. Second reason is that you don't like how the book looks or it looks just like poem. BUT it is NOT!!!!!!!!!! The character is half Japaneses and half American. It is about her school life at a new city for 6 months. Check the book out for more, more, and more information.

Utterly Me, Clarice Bean

Utterly Me, Clarice Bean

By Lauren Child

I've always loved Clarice Bean, and when I reread this favorite elementary school book, I was filled with happy memories of simpler times. I loved reliving the funny and quirky story of Clarice and her friends and her love of Ruby Redfort. I feel like I've told this to everyone I've talked to about this book, but the author of this book is Lauren Child, also well known for her Charlie and Lola picture books. In the Clarice Bean series, Clarice and her best friend Betty are obsessed with a series called Ruby Redfort about an eleven-year-old undercover detective and spy, and that's when I became obsessed with the idea of the series. Then I learned when I was about 10 years old that so many fans of Clarice Bean actually wrote to Lauren Child asking her to write a real Ruby Redfort series. And she did, and those books are also amazing so I encourage you to check those out too!! Clarice is faced with many mysteries that seem to be up to her to solve. This book was a blast from the past for me, and I totally loved reading it again after all these years!
