This book is about a boy who has to live with his uncle, a detective. When the uncle's nemesis, who used to be his partner and is now the best detective, holds a contest. Uncle doesn't want to go but the boy enters and pretends the uncle is there. Whoever solves the "murder mystery " wins the title "the worlds greatst detective" but when there is a real murder, everyone race to find out who did it. I got this book from a shipment called Owlcrate Jr. It sends you a brand new book so you've never read it before and it sends you things and trinkets that go with the book theme. This book is about a girl detective, her ghost mother, and a makeup kiosk mystery. Someone has been adding strange things in the makeup-chili sauce in the lipstick, cactus prickles in the hand creme, and hair removal in the hair cream! Along with her mother (who is a ghost that talks to her), Sherry Baldwin solves the mystery of the crazy makeup.

I have not yet read this book but it indeed looks very interesting. I'm looking foreword to reading this book. I've played a game called mystery case files 13th skull and this really caught my eye because it reminded me so much of that I couldn't resist checking it out. OMG my favorite book so far. A really good and interesting read. So mysterious, gives me the chills.

It's a good book. One of the best Hardy Boys series yet, I think. It's pretty cool. I recommend this book.

i think the book was very good it has interesting detail and i like it because the auther of the book really went into detail about the writing and the charecters and the diologue is amazing

I just ran out of books to read and recently I just had a Disney obsession so I read this book series and it was the right choice

I've read, and boy do I wish these were around when I was younger. This story introducers readers to tween vampire, Ashlee Lambert, who moves from her posh NYC apartment out to to L.A. were her famous mother gets her own reality tv as a judge. Ashlee not only has to make new friends and deal with a whole new school, but she's still learning about being a vampire. The cool thing about the vampires in this book is that they shift into bats, don't drink animal blood and can go outside. Though she's the lone vampire in her family (who have no idea she is one), Ashlee has a mentor there to help her. Things get a little out of hand once she's in L.A.
