The Giver Quartet boxed set

The Giver Quartet boxed set

By Lois Lowry

I got this book series for Christmas after reading about the first book, "The Giver" in class. I highly recommend the series, even if I didn't read them all because I know that they are very unique in the way Lois Lowry writes them. Every time I read them, I feel happy because they aren't the usual magical animal kind of books, kids moving to new schools and states, or any kids dealing with the loss of someone(even though those are pretty good, it isn't as unique as you think it is, but still very inspirational).

By Gina Loveless

This book is amazing! I would for sure recommend this book to any one that feels like an out law! I'm in fifth grade as well and I relate to Robin. I love the part where Robin makes a new friend. This book is both funny and interesting which makes this it so unique! You should read this story because it will cure your boredom!

By Jeff Kinney

OMG I love these books! Jeff Kinney’s series Diary of a wimpy kid, is the BEST! These books are through Greg’s eyes, and follow him through his middle school years. He faces challenges that every middle schooler goes through. This series is hilarious, and there is never a dull moment in the Heffley house!

Darth Paper Strikes Back (Origami Yoda #2)

Darth Paper Strikes Back (Origami Yoda #2)

By Tom Angleberger

Harvey has always been skeptical about Origami Yoda. So he tries to pry open the truth and makes Darth Paper which he uses to fight him . Soon, Harvey seems to have turned evil and his friends try to rescue him but it is harder then they have expected. How will they ever bring Harvey back to the right side? I would recommend this for ages 10+ Awesome book! The plot was really fun and interesting. The pace was really nice but the author could just smooth it a teensy bit more. The pictures were so funny and I loved reading the case files. FYi, the 3rd book is the secret of the fortune Wookiee ;)

The Secret of the Fortune Wookiee (Origami Yoda #3)

The Secret of the Fortune Wookiee (Origami Yoda #3)

By Tom Angleberger

This book was pretty good. So after getting kicked out of his old school, Dwight transfers to "Tippet" and enjoys it there. Dwight also, supposedly makes an origami Chewbacca for the class, and Sara uses it. But, when their class starts really missing Dwight, and from Caroline, a student that used to go to Mcquarrie, they're hearing that Dwight is not acting like himself at his new school...so Tommy and his classmates put together a new file on wanting Dwight to return.

Tyrannosaurus Wrecks (FunJungle)

Tyrannosaurus Wrecks (FunJungle)

By Stuart Gibbs

How do you drag a 500-pound dinosaur skull through the mud on a rainy day? Does that sound even remotely possible? Teddy is asked to investigate a mysterious crime on his friend Sage's Farm: a thief stole a dinosaur skull, seemingly without a trace! How could someone do it? Sage asks Teddy to figure out the impossible crime. If he doesn't Sage may lose his ranch! Also, the local police think that Summer's dad, J.J McCracken, stole the bones, and if Teddy fails, FunJungle might be shut down! I like how every FunJungle book talks about an issue about animals, like habitat destruction, or the illegal pet trade. I recommend this book to animal lovers.

Claudia And The Little Liar (Baby-Sitters Club)

Claudia And The Little Liar (Baby-Sitters Club)

By Ann M. Martin

This is a book in the baby sitters club series written by Ann M. Martin. In this book, Claudia has never had trouble with 3rd grade Haley. So when she starts sprouting a bunch of lies, Claudia is not sure what to do. Haley has always been helpful, but her lies are doing a lot of damage... the baby sitters club might even break up! Read the book to find out what happens! I gave this book 4 stars because even though it is good, the ending seems too fast and convenient. Hope you like this book! Happy Reading!

Five Feet Apart

Five Feet Apart

By Rachael Lippincott

Six feet apart. That is Barb the caretaker's rule, the hospital's rule, the world's rule when it comes to a patient with cystic fibrosis and another with B. cepacia. The same applies to Stella Grant and Will Newman. Conformed by medical procedures, family strain, and self-control, Stella must put a smile on her face for the world's reassurance. Will is a different matter. Despite his mother's efforts and family's wealth, he has given up on everything that could add to his lifespan. After contracting B. cepacia, he no longer has the one thing every patient needs to keep them going: hope. So when rule-abiding Stella and individualistic Will first meet, sparks fly, and not in the best way. But gradually, resentment spirals into flirtation, and what seemed like harmless serenading suddenly turns into love. The odds will never be in their favor. Even as they date, they aren't allowed to leave the hospital or be nearer than six feet apart. Add Barb's meddling, Poe's disapproval, and both of their conditions deteriorating, and the relationship seems destined to fail. But when Stella closes that gap to five feet apart, and Will closes it to zero, nobody can deny that Stella and Will are written in the stars.
