Night; with Connections

Night; with Connections

By RINEHART AND WINSTON HOLT

I decided to read this book when I was at the library and it looked interesting so I started reading it. This book is a boring book in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend it because it dont have good conflicts and plots and stuff. However I would recommend this book to someone who likes war and others teenagers experience. This book is not all bad it just didn't catch my eye it probably will too you.

The Wampanoags (True Books: American Indians (Pb))

The Wampanoags (True Books: American Indians (Pb))

By Alice K. Flanagan

This book’s genre is history and it was written by Alice K. Flanagan. The Wampanoags lived happily in Michigan until the English came. The leader of the Wampanoags died, and his sons tried to keep the promise, but didn’t keep it and the English attacked the Wampanoags. The main characters are the Wampanoags. They are kind, generous, and had a happy life. Two key events that “added” to the plot was when Massiot, leader of the Wampanoags, died, and when the English attacked. The Wampanoags used to happily live in Rhode Island. Then they had to work in non-Indian communities. On page 48, it says, “American Indians now work in non-Indian communities.” One unanswered question I would like to ask the author is “Were the Wampanoags happy?” I enjoyed the pottery page because it is different from other pages. I would recommend this book because it is a history genre.

Through the Looking Glass Illustrated

Through the Looking Glass Illustrated

By Lewis Carroll

Through the looking glass and what Alice found there by Lewis Carroll number of pages 185. The main events of my story were, Alice met Humpty Dumpty. Humpty then told her the way to find the way to find the Queens. Alice found the chess pieces and one of them was the Red Queen and the other was the White Queen. Then Alice met two knights and one of the knights wanted to capture her. Then in end Alice found the Queens again. They turned Alice into a queen! Alice had to learn all of the rules of being a true queen. I did like this book at some parts but, some of it did not make sence. When I finished it and thought about it, it all came together. The reason I liked it was because it is funny and it is how in the end Alice became Queen Alice. She was super cool about having to learn all the rules about being a queen.

This is a great book or.. maybe a comic! Her brother name John and your girlfriend name sammy! The greatest comic I ever seen! Never sammy wants her friends called raina, raina is a girl that helped her girl friend out. John gets very strong, now the little sammy help raina out, and John gets out. Raina meets animals! Sammy meets birds! John scared bears and chase them! And this is the best comic ever I seen in the shop! Now your comic is my book! I read 20 times and her comic is beautiful! Thanks for reading my comic!

Who Was Alexander Hamilton?

Who Was Alexander Hamilton?

By Pam Pollack, Meg Belviso

I would give this book a four star. I think the book does a good job describing Alexander Hamilton's life. First it talks about his early life and when and where he was born. Next it talks about his life as an adult when he founded many organizations. Lastly it talks about his later life when he died and where he was buried. I think this is a great book and you should definitely give it a try.
