“Sabotage” by Neal Bascomb “Sabotage” by Neal Bascomb is a Non-fiction book about a mission to destroy Hitler’s atomic bomb in the Vidda. Five Norwegian soldiers were chosen to complete this mission. A topic in this book is trial and error because the Norwegian soldiers tried several times to blow up the plant but failed a lot. A quote to represent trial and error is “It felt like a crater was opening in each of their hearts”. The author said this because a plane was supposed to drop more soldiers down into the Vidda but failed because the soldiers on the ground failed to set up the signal. I thought the book was boring because it lacked suspense and could have more plot. I rate this book a 5/10 because it did not grab my attention very well. I would not recommend this to people. This is my review on the book Sabotage and if you want to see if the soldiers destroy the bomb you will have to read yourself.

The Boy at the top of the Mountain by John Boyne is a historical fiction book. Pierrot is a young boy who grew up in Paris and is sent to Bavaria which is a free state of Germany. Topics addressed in this book are Holocaust, family, racism, orphanage. The theme of this book is that one bad choice can affect your life greatly. A quote that stands out to me is one of the nazis saying “there is nothing to fear” showing that they had complete trust that Hitler and the higher up Nazis were in the right. I liked this book because it was super interesting to see how the author would portray a young boy and his life living at Hitler’s house. I would definitely recommend this book and would give it 4 out of 5 stars.

“A bone chilling tale not to be ignored” In my opinion this book shows the characters emotions and actions very detailed throughout the whole story. This book is great for someone who loves to be on the edge of the seat and wanting to keep reading no matter what. I would recommend this book to someone because the book has really detailed actions and emotions and shows what war and places were like back in WW2 time period.

I liked this book because of all the topics addressed including manipulation, politics and war. she also made a good point about how they had to un-brainwashed kids. Hitler once said “ I began with the young ones, the older are all used up” this quote represents the subject matter of the book. Miles

This book is really interesting, it’s cover is also really cool

You've probably seen tons of movies, but how were they made? How did that superhero punch through that wall? Where was that scene filmed? How did they make a movie with all those kids? In the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Movie, lots of work was put into the film. Just how did they make the movie? If you want to know, then read this book! This book is great for you if you watched the movie and wanted to find out more about it.

Mary Alice, age 15, feels very sorry for herself when she is put on a train by her parents (because they need to get a smaller house where there is no room for her) during the economic slump after "The Great War" (WW1), to live with her grandma (a woman known for being very active and having a gun) in a small town where everyone knows everything. I would recommend this book to age ten and up because it has some parts that are better for older kids (A painter tries to paint the post lady while she has not clothes on, and then a snake falls on her because the painter's studio is in the attic, and the post lady runs back to the post office screaming without her clothes on, and there is also a tiny bit of romance).

i luv this book!!!!! anime fans like me can all agree that the history and special moments in the life of anime go on and on, but Sandra Annett was surprisingly able to smash it all together perfectly in one book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is my favorite book. Tom is a mischievous young boy who gets into all sorts of trouble. He has a big crush on a new girl named Becky Thatcher, and would do anything for her. He witnesses a grave robbery and murder with his friend Huck Finn. He even runs away with his friends and people assume he's dead. Tom can always talk himself out of a scrape, and can even get kids to take his punishments AND pay him! This is a wonderful book about a fun and daring childhood.

I think this book is a great push for anti- racism. In this book the Méndez family fight for segregation. They tried to enroll 5 kids in a school. 2 white kids got in, but 3 Mexican kids didn't. The Méndez family constantly asked why, but wouldn't get a answer. But after a year of fighting, they got justice. I liked this book because it showed me that segregation is cruel, mean, and unfair. I really liked the style that the author used to draw pictures with in the book.
