It was very enjoyable to read Jeff Kinney's Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School which is a comical and humorous novel. Throughout the story, Greg Heffley found out whether life was better in the old days as his modern life is taken away from him. It was interesting that the author wrote in a very casual tone that made me feel he was talking to me in an everyday conversation. Kinney also used lots of funny vocabularies throughout this book that made me laugh lots of times. I never came upon confusion when reading the book because everything was written in simple and short sentences. I especially loved the illustrations that went along with the story. They were very neat, and I thought it was fun to read the text boxes inside them because they were often silly and amusing. The transition between different subjects were quite smooth, and Kinney had done a good job relating each scene to the others. However, I thought the Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School could be improved if there was a more central story that the novel could follow. I found that Kinney always wrote about different subjects when describing the story, but sometimes I felt it would have been better if he just focused on the main story, and added more details on the actions, thoughts, and surroundings of the characters. In summary, I would recommend Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School to younger children or people who have weaker reading abilities and like a playful and easy read.

My dad read this to me a couple years ago, he's an orthodontist. Reading this again gave me some nice nostalgia! It's a great book.Its such a good book lets say that you like dentist, friends, boys,family, school and growing up then smile is the book that you shall read because its a ten star review⭐⭐ really liked this book, and that's saying something because I am not a huge fan of graphic novels. It's an incredible story, and Raina really changes towards the better at the end. Recommended for sure!In this book a teenager named Raina faces a horrible ascendent when she's racing her best friends . now she has to go to her dentist and get braces in the middle of the year . Can a female teenager survive the school year. Read the book to find out. I hope you will enjoy this book the way I did. HAPPY READING!

I have always love the Diary of the wimpy kids series! This book is one of my favorites of the series, 1.) because this is the book that got the series started! And 2.) This book was the very, very ,and I mean very first novel book I have ever read! And this book made me want to continue on reading novels and now I have read almost all of theme.(a new one just came out so I need to read that one.) So if you haven't read any of these books, well then your really missing out on a lot! This book is just plain fun, FUNNY, good, and very interesting! So if you like any of that, then I suggest you read all the series! SO READ THIS BOOK TODAY OR IF ITS NIGHT TIME,THEN TOMORROW! have a good day and I hope you enjoyed my review!!!! :)

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Double Down is another hilarious and relatable middle school story from the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. Greg's mother is determined to keep his brain from turning to "mush" by "unplugging" him from his video games and getting him into his creative side. Relunctant to put down his video games, he attempts to impress his mom to gain more gamig time, he begins to try new things that turn into hilarious events. Joining the school band to get an invitation to a Halloween party turns into getting locked in a room, trying to win an early haul of Halloween candy causes Greg to meet strange Lego obsessed boy who lives in the middle of no where, and in an attempt to become rich and famous by making a horror movie causes a flock of crazed geese to chase his best friend, Rowley up a tree. Plus many more crazy adventures. Double Down will become a new favorite to any Diary of a Wimpy Kid fans!

The previous dragonets of destiny have stopped the war, and have decided to build an academy to teach younger dragons to get along better than their ancestors, so another war like that won't happen again. The story is in the point of view of Moonwatcher, or Moon, for short. Moon is a very special Nightwing, and not just because she was raised in the forest away from the other Nightwings. Moon can read minds. Not only that, but she can see the future, at least a little bit. No Nightwing has had those powers, or any for that matter, for centuries, if they even had any at all. All Moon's mother has ever told her was to "Stay hidden, stay secret, stay safe". But when Moon goes to the Jade Mountain Academy, the school set up by the Dragonets of Destiny, there are more dragons there than she's seen in her entire life, so that means so many of others' thoughts swimming in her head she can barely take it. She sees the horrible memories of dragonets who fought and those of ones who lost loved ones. Then she overhears someone saying that they're planning a murder, and needs to find out how to stop it. Suddenly a mysterious voice appears in her head teaching her how to use her powers. Will Moon be able to keep her new friends and solve who the to-be murderer is, or will everyone find out about her secret and not trust her? One disappointment was the death of Carnelian, a Skywing dragon: I was excited at the possibility of finally getting a book in a Skywing's point of view, and there was a great deal of wasted potential I saw in the character (although I still do love the other characters dearly). Wings of Fire in general touches on some pretty mature themes for a slightly younger-audience series, and Moon Rising seemed to up the ante in this regard, touching on the many psychological traumas that can result from a long and grueling war fought partially by youths. Peril, Sora, and Flame especially struck me as very tragic characters, but pretty much all of the characters seemed to have some major issues involving the war and I hope that these theme threads will be continued in the future books of this series arc. Witnessing the healing the characters go through would be very rewarding, considering all of the pain and loss the war caused them. If you liked the previous books in the series then you will most certainly like this, maybe even better! I know I did.

He dropped his blood- traitor blood into the filthy bowl of Erudite! I mean, yeah- she shouldn't be talking because she too is a traitor by going to Dauntless, but YIKES! I mean what?! Her very own brother chose WOW I mean, HOW Did he choose ERUDITE!?????? Well, Beatrice's parents defintly didn't talk to ANY of them anymore.................................. Well, after that, she ran and jogged with the Dauntless, and soon, they had to jump into a MOVING train!!! Someone fell, and that's how you end up factionless then, she is the first girl to jump in the building. She is famous now. Suddenly, a handsome boy with dark brown hair and dark eyes and a emotionless face watched her carefully as he asked, "Congratulations, your the first person to be dauntless, what's your name?" She said, "Tris. Tris Prior. I'm from Abnegat-" She started. BOUNCE! A tall boy with hazel- green eyes smirked at Tris and the boy- sneering, "You mean your a STIFF?" That's Peter. "I'm Four- your leader for you trainees- and I'm Four because I have four fears- and ONLY Four fears."
