Dear John
By Nicholas Sparks
Dear john is a story about a girl named Savannah and a guy named John that fell in love over spring break. This story teaches people that love isn't easy and it takes sacrifice to make it last. I think the main thing that broke their relationship apart was that john has to go back for the US army and they didn’t have any connection, the only thing they could do was to send each other letters. John’s dad was a big part of the story because John used to be really close to him but they lost their connections because John’s dad was abscessed with coins and became a coin collector. Coins was John and his dad’s bond John used to be really interested in coins but as he became a teenager he just stopped liking coins and started wanting just to be cool. The ending of the story wasn’t how I thought it would be. I thought that they would start a life together and have a family and be really happy but it wasn’t like that. I think a lot of people would like this book if they like romantic and love stories.

The Making of a Navy SEAL: My Story of Surviving the Toughest Challenge and Training the Best
By Brandon Webb, John David Mann
The Making Of A Navy SEAL - My story of surviving the toughest challenge and training the best By Brandon Webb. Do you want to follow what others think is an impossible dream? That is what Brandon does in this amazing auto-biography. He faces unbelievable odds from a young age. There are several settings, because he lived on a boat for some time and was in the military. Brandon Webb is the protagonist, the path to being a Navy SEAL - the antagonist - is in his way. One major conflict is trying not to get washed out -fail- SEAL training. Another is trying to redesign the SEAL sniper training course. The turning point is when he finds out the imperfections of the sniper course when he was training in it, and then fixes them as soon as possible. A cool thing that happened was that Brandon trained elite snipers such as Chris Kyle (American Sniper) and Marcus Luttrell (Lone Survivor). I thought this book was one of the greatest that I have read in a long time because this book has so much detail and it tells you what life in the military is like.
Lauren Ipsum: A Story About Computer Science and Other Improbable Things
By Carlos Bueno
I love Laurie Ipsum. I really like logic problems so I really liked reading about this book. My favorite problem is you have a wolf, a sheep, and broccoli and you want to take all to the other side. If you take the wolf and leave the sheep with the broccoli then the sheep would eat it but if you took the broccoli and left the sheep with the wolf then the wolf would eat the sheep. The way to solve that is you take the sheep then you go back and get the wolf and take it to the other side. Once you have got it to the other side you take the sheep back to the side you started at.Once you get there you drop of the sheep and take the broccoli to the other side. Then the last step is go get the sheep and take it to the other side. That is one reason why I like Lauren Ipsum.
