By John Steven Gurney (Illustrator) by Ron Roy
I decided to start this series because i like mysteries. I read the first one and i was hooked so far i have everyone in my school library and hoping to read the last few. The first one is about this 3rd grader named Dink and his friends Josh and Ruth Rose who are always the main characters. He is going to see his favorite kids mystery writer named Wallis Wallace and in the letter to Dink it says that he will be there unless he is kidnapped but then Wallis dosen't show up at the book signing! the police say he just missed his flight ,but Dink knows what really happened!
National Geographic Kids Almanac 2021, U.S. Edition (National Geographic Almanacs)
By National Geographic Kids
Almanac 2021 is one of the best books out there. It offers cool information that I loved to read about, and includes some fun games, like two amazing Mad Libs and many more games. This 352-page nonfiction book managed to keep me engaged with vivid text features and chapters that never show a sign of tuning down, and it is special for a book to throw so much information while readers remember a major portion of it. It's an accomplishment that's rare among nonfiction texts, but Nat Geo masters it with this book. Overall, I'd say it's very engaging a recommend this book with 5 stars.
The Clique
By Lisi Harrison
This book is the first book in "The Clique" series. The story is about 4 popular girls named Massie, Kristen, Dylan, and Alicia, and one unpopular girl named Claire. The 4 popular girls were friends at first, but everything changes after Claire Lyons comes from Florida to live with Massie. Massie is super rich, and her house is huge, so her dad, who is friends with Claire's dad, invited the Lyons to live with them until the Lyons' house is finished building. Obviously, Massie doesn't like the idea of having the Lyons live with her family, so she starts bullying Claire with her other 3 girls. So in this book, there are lots of conflicts, mainly between Massie and Claire. However, one day Claire decided to get revenge and sneaked into Massie's room... I would recommend this book to people who like reading about school life and friendship, because in this book, you can learn a lot about complicated friendship and school life.
The Thief of Always: A Fable
By Clive Barker
In this book, Harvey and Wendall are two kids who are really bored, and are taken to a house during holiday. They discover that the house has magic. They try to escape the house, but discover that everything in the house are illusions, including the people. Every day in the house was a year. Another character, Mr. Hood, is trying to persuade Harvey to become his Apprentice by giving him what he desires, but Harvey refuses. The book is interesting, it can be scary with lots of weird creatures. But, this may be a good experience for readers to inspire them to read fantasy titles. Fantasy books are special. *Warning* there is some language in this book...but it is still a good book.

I think that this book is a very good book. I would recommend this book to someone that wants to learn about raceism . This book is kind of like a history book about when raceism was so so so popular. The problem is how white folk are trying to get most of the black people killed. It is kind of teaching you in part of the book when money was scarce, it is trying to teach you not to waste your money that you might need it but you won't have any. I think that this book is great and you should read it it you if you want to know about raceism.
