Suppose there were 12-year-old twins, a boy and girl named John and Abigail Templeton. Let's say John was pragmatic and played the drums, and Abigail was theoretical and solved cryptic crosswords. Now suppose their father was a brilliant, if sometimes confused, inventor. And suppose that another set of twins—adults—named Dean D. Dean and Dan D. Dean, kidnapped the Templeton twins and their ridiculous dog in order to get their father to turn over one of his genius (sort of) inventions. Yes, I said kidnapped. Wouldn't it be fun to read about that? Oh please. It would so. Luckily for you, this is just the first in a series perfect for boys and girls who are smart, clever, and funny (just like the twins), and enjoy reading adventurous stories (who doesn't?!).

This book is about 2 girls, they are the Templeton Twins. They go with their dog, Cassie and trick a set of kindnappers, to prevent the kidnappers from stealing 1 of the latest inventions that their father invented.

The Temploton twins mother has just died. It wasn't unexpected either. But then, they move, and everything changes. They get kidnapped by a VERY rude man called Dean.D. Dean, and his brother, Dan D. Dean. With pressure on them, will they find a way to escape to find their father?

This book is about twins. Their father is a inventor but when their father is doing a speech someone named Dean Dean Dean says that he copies his invention and wants to work with him but their father says no but then the twins and their father are kidnapped the twins have an idea what is their idea?

This author really created a funny atmosphere with a stuck up narrator and a nice dose of suspense was around every corner, the illustrator was also very nice at drawing things that go along with the story.

This was an interesting adeventure and the author really made you feel like you were in the story and created his own character of the "narrator" who is full of himself and complains alot and really lifted up the story.

This book was amazingly detailed. I don't know how the author does it! My favorite part was when I found out that Abigail was great at using words. Like for example, when she used the words "tedious" and "grim".

This is a great book about these twins who are super geniuses. They use there smartness to fight off criminals and robbers. It is an amazing book! you should really read it!

The book was an easy read. Funny with a funny narrator.

this bok is a interesting book you should realy read it
