Wild Bill had a kind of exciting life time In the wild west. In 1837 James Butler or "Wild Bill" was born. Him and his family helped runaway slaves escape (go them!) ,helping them escape was against the law. Nobody knows the true story of how he became a sharpshooting legend of the wild west! For a year he starred in a wild west show but he quit the job and went back to the real wild west. In 1876 he was shot in the head by John McCall while playing poker. Great book has good information.
