this book is so goood
The Magic Half is about Miri who's family is rather big,but she still feels alone.There are 2 set's of twins Robbie and Ray who are older then Miri,Nell and Nora,and Miri the middle child without a twin.All alone without a twin to hang with,but soon all that changes.Magic happens and Miri is sent back in time to save a girl from her evil aunt and cousin.Molly and Miri are the same age and have some pretty similar things about them.them. Miri brings Molly back to the Gill family to be her twin,and no one suspects or thinks anything of it.Everyone thought Miri and Molly where always twins.They wore there glasses the same,hair,ect. I.I just finished the next book Magic in the mix,and it was awesome.I'm not going to blow anything in this review though.
The magic half is REALLY good. This book is about a girl named Miri. She has twins as siblings. But she herself is different. She is the one in the family that might have a little magic within her.
The main character in this book is a girl named Miri. Miri is the only single child in her family which also has a set of older twin brother and younger twin sisters. The major even that changes Miri's life is when her family moves to an ancient farmhouse. Miri doesn't like the condition of her room very much. After getting into some trouble, Miri is banished to her room and she sees a piece of an old glasses lens taped to the wall. She looks through it and Miri is taken on a journey back to 1935. Miri meets Molly who is her partner and new friend is this charming story.
If you like magic and and know that there is more to family than blood, then The Magic Half is just that. This book takes place in both modern day, and long ago. Two girls, one with several siblings, and the other with none, find their way into each other's lives. The modern sister acually goes back into time and saves her "sister" from her evil stepmother Flo, all with the help of her Grandmother who knows more than she let on.
I haven't finished reading this book yet, but so far it's pretty good. When I am finished with it I'll come back.
I have read this book and it was really good. Great storyline and characters. I really enjoyed reading this book. I would recommend this book.
Miri (the main character) is the middle child... the middle child between two sets of twins but without a twin herself. all her life she has felt left out because of it. one day she gets into a fight with one of her brothers. her brother gets a (fake) injury so... off to her room. (that was the boring part but very important) while sitting on her bed she sees a glint of glass in the corner of her room. with further inspection it appears to be part of a pair of glasses. she looks into the glass and everything starts to spin... shes in her room again but it looks... different.
