Ten-year-old Saige Copeland loves spending time on her grandma Mimi's ranch, riding horses and painting. Her school made the tough choice to cut art classes, which means she's lost her favorite subject. So when Mimi decides to organize a "save the arts" fundraiser and parade to benefit the school, Saige jumps on board. She begins training Mimi's beautiful horse, Picasso, for his appearance in the parade. Then Mimi is injured in an accident, and Saige wonders what she can do to help. Can she ride Picasso in the parade and make her grandma proud? Can she still raise money to protect the arts at school?

This a great book, I really liked it. It is about Saige overcoming her fear of performing in front of other people. Her grandmother gets hurt and she wants Saige to take over her spot in the parade, the leader.

This book is about Saige that is starting a new school year but it isn't going to good because Tessa (Saige's best friend) and Saige seem to splitting apart and the subject art is not at the school. Grandma Mimi tries to help by suggesting a save the arts parade and fund raise on Mimi's horse Picasso. Soon Saige finds out that Mimi is injured by an accident Saige has to do everything herself. She can do it!

I love most of the American Girl books but this would be one of my favorites. Also to me I would love to spend time and be so close to my grandma like Saige

If you are an American Girl fan you will probably like this book. This book goes with the American Girl 2013 Doll named Saige (of course). It tells all about Saige's two favorite things, riding horses and painting, especially on her grandmother MiMi's ranch

i love american girl epically Mckenna and Rebecca Rubin

When I saw this book, I knew I wouldn't like it, but I tried it. It wasn't like my favorite book, but it was okay. I just wanted to say I liked and I didn't really like the character a lot, Saige has many different attitudes and emotions, I get what she means and all, but it's just too much. I don't want to say it wasn't a bad book, it just is a book that is slow pacing, but I didn't really like it that much. Overall, it was okay.

Saige loves horses. She is upset that her school can only afford music and art teachers in alternate years. Saige works with her grandma, to plan a fundraiser but when her grandma has an accident, Saige relies on new friend Gabi to help.

SO FAR IT IS FABULOUS, I LOVE IT. IT IS ABOUT SAIGE WHO LOVES TO PAINT AND RIDE HORSES. SHE IS VERY CREATIVE AND HAS A GRANDMA WHO IS VERY CREATIVE TOO. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BOOK FOR GIRLS ONLY.

I like the American Girl books. This book is about Saige. She is interesting since she likes horses and is very adventurous. I'd like to meet her for real. I think she'd be a fun friend.
