The great right fielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Roberto Clemente was proud of his family, his native Puerto Rico, and his ability to play baseball. “Baseball fans will welcome this book because of the fast-paced action, but the temper of the man and his concern for human beings will leave a lasting impression on the younger reader.”--The Horn Book

I recommend this book to anyone who likes sports. Also, this book can teach you a lot of things. It can teach you that hard work pays off. It can also teach you to appreciate what you have and to give back to your community just like Roberto built a sports complex for kids in Puerto Rico. This book can be read by anyone from kids to adults. That is why I recommend this book.
