  This sounds like an amazing historical fiction book because it shows how science was alive even in 1889. In fact, it shows how science brought her and her grandfather, a naturalist, together. Along the way of discovering science, she most likely faces obstacles due to the time period she lived in, but in the end her spirit for science most likely lives on. I would really like row in this book because of my love for history and science. I enjoy learning about different time periods and this would be a chance for me to learn about my two favorite subjects at the same time!   I have been wanting this book for a long time.Then my friend told me about the book and said it was amazing!!!!!!! I checked it out at the library but I didn't finish in time plus I was in the middle of a lot of books. I really hope i win!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I have wanted to read this book for a long time and I would really appreciate if I could win it. Our school doesn't have it for us, as the students, to use. So this is one of my only options. I enjoy reading as much as possible and when I a done I will give the book to my school to read. I have seen really great reviews on this website for it and I hope I can win it. I understand that there are only ten users who can win the book, but I also understand that many users would like to have it and are submitting responses. This sounds like a very interesting book and I think it is very important that I get to read it somehow. I really hope I get the book and I am also really thankful the DOGObook community gives out such great books.
