This book is about Lady Grace, a 13 year-old girl who lives in England in the Renaissance time period. She lives in the palace with the queen who has just chosen 3 men for her to choose to get married to. At the ball, where she must choose, she picks, later that night one of the other suitors gets murdered and it gets blamed on Grace’s fiancé, now it is up to her to find the assassin. This book shows how Lady Grace uses simple logic to find the answer to this murder. There are many historical references inside, like the plague, and how girls were much younger when they got married back then. In my opinion the book was not very exciting, and the suspects became very complicated
