    What happens when the world is ambushed with a nuclear war? Devastation. Ann burden is sixteen and all alone... The valley Ann is living in has been safe from the radiation some how, and she is surviving but she is so lonely she hasn't seen a living person in months and is coming to the conclusion that she is the only one left. But one day a man arrives and becomes sick after drinking poisonous water. Will Ann trust this man, whom she doesn't know, and nurse him back to health? Can they survive this harsh new world?
