I think it is a good book caus wings of fire is my favrit

I already wrote a review about the first three Wings of Fire books and I'm planning to get through all fifteen books eventually so, here is my review about the fourth Wings of Fire book, The Dark Secret, a fantasy by Tui T. Sutherland. It is about Starflight (NightWing) one of the Dragonets of Destiny who are supposed to stop a giant war. The dragonets are hiding in the Rainforest and Starflight gets captured by his own tribe, the Nightwings. The Night Kingdom is not how Starfight ever imagined it to be. The NightWings have been living on a volcanic island and breathing in volcanic ash and smoke. The volcano is also killing the only prey on the island so all the NightWings are starving and in terrible shape. Starflight meets another NightWing, Fatespeaker, the one NightWing he actually likes. even with Fatespeaker, Starflight Knows that he needs to get back to his friends and away from the horrible, sulfur-smelling island and the cruel NightWings. Will Starflight, the most nervous and scared of the Dragonets of Destiny be able to be brave enough to escape back to his friends and the Rainforest?

So good! When Starflight has to make a hard choice, it depends on him to make the right decision.

I do not have this book but I want to read it, it seems interesting.

Amazing book I love the wings of fire series! ! ! ! Right now I'm on book 13 and so far it's really good

Starflight is captured by his own tribe and forced through a series of tests that will determine if he is valuable enough to live. He has never been brave or courageous, and he is forced to try new things away from the safety of his friends who now think he has betrayed them. Starflight must be brave for the first time in his life, or risk his friends, the prophecy, and his own life.

I will say that I most certainly enjoyed this more than The Hidden Kingdom, but I didn't feel it reached the first two, which I thought were great. The start was once again very slow. It took quite a bit of time setting up. I thought The Night Kingdom would have been much action packed, but instead there was a lot of Starflight wandering around with Fatespeaker and not taking matters into their own hands (claws?). That being said, the slow start was bearable since we had a great narrator. I found Starflight to be a very relatable character. I'm not sure if it was intended, but I found him kind of funny in a way the other characters weren't. I love that he was slightly self deprecating but never whiny. The climax was extremely exciting, and I loved the reveal at the end. I had a ton fun after I got into it, and as far as the Starflight/Sunny romance, I thought it was very cute. The scenes in which the dragons are threatened by a volcano and earthquakes are fearsome. I'm looking forward to seeing how the author wraps all this up in the next book. Can we please get some more Deathbringer? I felt like he stole every scene he was in and I think Starflight and Deathrbinger would be good friends. My one nitpick I had is that each book started developing a different character, and right when we started to feel like we knew that character and got invested in the story, the book would end and then the problems that character had would be abandoned in the next book without us getting resolution. What happened to Peril? What about Tsunami's family? How is Glory faring as queen? I'm worried all of my questions won't be answered in the final book. Nevertheless, I found this very fun with a narrator I could easily connect with. Some issues, but still a good addition to the story.

In the fourth book of Wings of Fire, Starflight is captured and dragged to the Night Kingdom, by his own tribe no less! They are nothing near what Starflight thought they were. The Nightwings have many secrets, including one that tempers with fate itself. Will Starflight be able to survive? Or will a powerful force take his life?
