In this epic tale of a young squirrel and a magic island, you'll find yourself in a whole different world! You'll run errands with a page, go into exile with an innocent squirrel Captain, reach into the darkest depths with an evil squirrel, fly on swans with two brave squirrels, and fight the battle of your life with all the creatures of Mist mantle! You'll find yourself turning pages faster than you thought you could and you'll get so wrapped up in reading, you won't be able to hear anything except the cries and cheers of the characters inside your head! This was an amazing book! Very well done!

This is one of my favorite books of all time! A truly magical story, I read it every night! It was a great experience to read, I loved the characters, the dialog, and the plot! I was holding my breath whenever it came to a dramatic part. Definitely in my top 3 books.

Urchin was found one night on the beach on a night of riding stars and was adopted by a kind squirrel. After King Brushen and Queen Spindle's son is found murdered, Urchin must help stop the mysterious traitors that hide somewhere.

THIS BOOK IS AMAZING. This has been one of my favorite books for a LONG time. As soon as I read it, I fell in love. I loved the story, I loved the characters, I loved the world. It is truly a masterpiece of fiction, and way underrated. Definitely read this book!
