The start of seventh grade and the first football game of the year keep Alex and Ava on their toes in the second book of the It Takes Two series.

Seventh grade has finally begun, and the Sackett twins are ready to take their new school by storm! Alex thinks she still has a shot at getting in with the popular crowd and becoming class president—but is she willing to sacrifice having cute quarterback Corey be her boyfriend? Meanwhile, Ava’s worst fears are coming true: middle school is really hard, and she’s already failing English! When Alex reveals that she’s breezing through her class, they investigate a mix-up that leads to a surprising discovery about Ava.

Then, at the first football game of the season, the twins find out just how football-crazy their new town really is. Because their dad is the coach, their reputations depend on whether the Tigers win or lose—will they be celebrating a victory, or will they be defeated from the start?

This book is awesome!! I actully got it from DOGO!:) It is about twin girls and they just moved from Texas. Ava is a tomboy and Alex is a girly girl. So in the book is sort of about how it is their parents anniversary and Alex and Ava need to figure out how to get a nice dinner for their parents but after go to the pep rally. In the end it is all figured out. I recommend this book for girls only because it is girly-ish.

I loved this book so so so so much!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a great realistic fiction story. It is about two girls who are twins and are going into a new school. But in the new school things get tricky. I think this book is mainly for girls because the two main characters ( The twins ) are girls. I think the message in this story is ''Even if you have hard times and want to give up, keep trying''. I hope you like it!!!!!!!
