How would you feel if you owned a museum and something got stolen? Well you would have to call the Hardy boys into action. What if it was a really rare collection that only a couple other museums have? In The Hardy Boys The Twisted Claw by Franklin W. Dixon, that’s exactly what happens. The Hardy’s live in Bayport, New York but they fly all around the U.S to solve this mystery. This takes place in the 1900s when they had older cars and phones but not cellphones but like wall phones and house phones. because this book was made then. I think this book is a really well written book, and a really good book in general. If you like action packed and mysterious books then, the Hardy Boys books are right for you. In this particular book they are chasing down some criminals that were trying to steal a bunch of things from museums. The protagonists are: their world famous detective dad Mr.Hardy, their friend Chet Morton and themselves who are all in on the crimes. They also have the police on their side. The antagonist is the gang that they are against. The gang is trying to rob museums for a certain collection they want. I think this book is meant for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders because the words aren’t that hard to read but there are some violent scenes.
