#1 bestselling author Nicholas Sparks's new novel is at once a compelling family drama and a heartrending tale of young love.
Seventeen year old Veronica "Ronnie" Miller's life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Wilmington, North Carolina. Three years later, she remains angry and alientated from her parents, especially her father...until her mother decides it would be in everyone's best interest if she spent the summer in Wilmington with him. Ronnie's father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centerpiece of a local church.
The tale that unfolds is an unforgettable story of love on many levels--first love, love between parents and children -- that demonstrates, as only a Nicholas Sparks novel can, the many ways that love can break our hearts...and heal them.

The last song is a story about a girl name Ronnie Miler, her life turns upside-down after her parent's divorced, so her mom decides to send her to spend the summer with her father in North Carolina. Then she met a friend by and accident of bumping into each other, after that, she met a guy, also bump into each other by accident, and the guy name Will fell in love with Ronnie, and she did she. They soon become a couple, and then a lot of problems came around and messing with their relationship, like Will's family is rich and Ronnie's not, and Will was there when people think that Ronnie's father burned church, etc. After all, this story is basically about solving and facing problems and learn how to forgive and let go. I really like this story, because there's a lot of drama in this story, it makes me cry at that last part when they let go and forgive everything, which is really sad, but in a good way, and it also teach me some lessons, too.

The last song is a story about a girl name Ronnie that is not what you consider as a "nice kid". When she finally decides to go back to his father's house after their parents split, she accidently bumps into someone and became real good friends later. After all the drama, the boy, Will fell in love with Ronnie and so did she. They soon become a couple. Ronnie used to be a really great pianist, until her parents divorced. After that, there were a lot of problems with their relationship because Will's family is rich while Ronnie's isn't. The whole story is basically about solving problems and learning how to forgive. I personally really liked this book because all Nicholas Sparks books are great. This book really had a lot of concept in it and I would defitnetly recommend it.

The last song is a story about a girl named Ronnie miller that is angry and frustrated with parents especially her dad. She stayed that way for 3 years until she decides to visit him over summer break at north carolina. Ronnie met a boy at the beach he was a volleyball player, he accidently bumped into her and quickly became really good friends. Ronnie finds herself falling for the boy and they started dating. Ronnie is also a very good singer and pianist, but her dad is the one who taught her the piano so after her parents divorced she stopped playing music because it reminded her of her dad. Ronnie is very disappointed in her dad because he did something at the church and people got really mad about it. The ending was very sad because her dad ended up dieing to Ronnie playing the piano and singing to him as he looks at the sky. I think Ronnie understands that her dad was sick but still wanted Ronnie to come to his house at North carolina. This story was really sad and i think i would be a good book for people that likes emotional stories.
